I was Lisa's best friend for a few years, until my family moved to a new town. Lisa and I spent so much time together, divided between our house and the Green's house. I called her "Miss Polly" which was not her favorite nickname - LOL!  I loved her like a second mom. I ate with them, slept at their house almost as much as I did my own, laughed, cried, vacationed with, got picked on by older brother Norman and picked on younger brother Edward. Lisa and I rode bikes and horses all over Pickton. We didn't have internet, and long-distance calls cost money - I got caught up with making new friends in a new place, and so we lost touch. I always missed them...the whole family. But especially Lisa and Miss Polly. I guess I'll miss them forever...
