The worlds coolest grandpa. Not a man of very many words at times. As well as the occasional grunts he would do, But then other times he was the man that filled the room with laughter. As a child I loved going to papa dons. He was the man I was going shake down for a dollar. He was the man that was going to have me pull up a chair and earn the dollar the good ole fashion way in a poker game. Some of my best memories were around the poker table. Then there was the papa don karaoke side of him. He sure thought he was a kenny Rogers of karaoke. Boy, did he do a mean gambler. He had the worlds greatest laugh. Then there was the soft side of him. The side that enjoyed his great grandkids and enjoyed being a great grandpa. He was so happy and proud to be a great grandpa. One of my favorite memories is when macie brought him her hot pink sun glasses and looked up at him, chunky two year old, piggy tale little girl and asked him to try them on and he did. And wore them with pride. Man was he the coolest.
This is how I will always remember him, the worlds coolest grandpa.
