The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Billy Pendley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Jeff & Beverly Pendley (as written by Bevery)

We are all so sad about Uncle Pinto's passing. Some of Jeff's best childhood memories were of his many excursions with Pinto. Pinto was a bigger than life character who always made time for the kids, especially all his nieces and nephews and I think he enjoyed it as much as the kids! I think Jeff has told me all the stories and I even joined the family young enough to see some of these stories for myself at our many gatherings at Lake Navarro Mills for picnics, visiting, water skiing and the like. When Jeff and I stayed with Pinto and Clarice, we always felt very welcome and had a great time. Some of our regrets are that we didn't live closer to Pinto and Clarice to be able to visit with them more. I am sure as adults we could have appreciated them more. I can't count how many times in the last couple of months Jeff has mentioned that he wanted to go see Pinto and ask him about the Pendley boys childhood and all the stories. We are very sad but find solace in the fact that he is no longer in pain and that he and Aunt Clarice have been reunited. So sad, Jeff & Beverly, Jeffery, Kimberly, Addie & Nolan Pendley, Paige, Kyle & Laken Lessor.
