Obituary for Yvonne Marie Cadwallader

Yvonne Marie (Abernathy) Cadwallader, 86 of Weatherford, Texas at Windsor Court Senior
Living and Memory Care was born October 11, 1936 in Festus, Missouri. She was the beloved
wife of the late Francis Lee Cadwallader. They were married 53 years before his death in May,
2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Marie (Boyer) and Adolph William
Abernathy.
She was the loving mother of 4 children: a daughter, Lisa (Brian) Catlin of Weatherford, Texas; a
daughter, Renee (Steve) Waggoner of Wichita Falls, Texas; a son, Todd (Leisha) Cadwallader of
Frisco, Texas; and a daughter, Coleen Stewart of Alpharetta, Georgia. 9 Grandchildren: Casey
(Laine) Smith of Lubbock, Texas, Alicia Bute of Woodstock, Georgia, Kristi Wiles of Wichita Falls,
Texas, Todd (Nandin-Erdene Bayaraa) Bute of Acworth, Georgia, Courtney (Matthew) Healy of
Weatherford, Texas, Jacob Catlin of Benbrook, Texas, Taylor Cadwallader of Frisco, Texas, Dylan
Cadwallader of Frisco, Texas and Jonathan Catlin of Weatherford, Texas. 9 Great Grandchildren:
Maci Waggoner, Maryn Strobel, Maddox Gordon, Ryder Wiles, Kolt Wiles, Wyatt Healy, Mila
Bute, Nora Bute and Baby Healy.
Two sisters: Deanna (the late Edward) Patek of Festus, Missouri and Carol (the late Richard)
Bardon of High Ridge, Missouri. One Brother: Allen “Tony” (the late Betty) Abernathy of Des
Peres, Missouri; One sister-in-law: Melba Jean (the late Donald Wilson and the late William
Edwards) Wilson of Festus, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by 2 sisters: Nadine (the late Arthur) Wehner and Shirley (the late
James) Robinson; and 4 brothers: Camille Abernathy, William (Martha) Abernathy, Adolph
Vincent Abernathy and Norman “Tuggy” (the late Catherine) Abernathy, all of Festus, Missouri.
She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a
devout Catholic her entire life. She was the Archdiocese of St. Louis CYC Queen her Senior Year
of High School.
Visitation at 12:00 pm and Vigil of the Deceased at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 27, 2023 with
Rite of Committal to follow at Beaty Funeral Home, 5396 S St Hwy 37, Mineola, TX 75773. Father
Lawrence Love of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church will be officiating.
