Obituary for Wanda Jane Willard (Lebel)
Wanda Jane Willard, 83, of Winnsboro Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 9th, 2023, after a long and meaningful life.
Wanda was born on February 5th, 1940, to Reverend Charles and Ouida Lebel in Dallas Texas. Wanda spent most of her adult life working and living on the quiet 4-D Ranch where her and husband built their home.
Wanda has now joined her husband James Willard, her parents, Reverend Charles and Ouida Lebel, sisters Margaret Irby and Ruth Addington and brothers Stanley Lebel and Charles Lebel Jr in their heavenly home.
Wanda will be remembered by her children; Kimbra Powell and husband Roger, Charles Martin, and Don Martin. Her grandchildren Lela Powell, Staci Phelps and husband Chad, Edward Powell and wife Amanda, and Alyssa LaHanier and husband Lance, as well as her great-grandchildren Lillie, Madeline, Jesse, James, Jackson, and Freya. She is survived by siblings Berta Blalock and Mary Dutton and brother-in-law Howard. Wanda will also be remembered by many, many other family and friends that she considered family.
Wanda never met a stranger and enjoyed making comments and remarks to get a smile out of someone. She worked hard to make one person’s bad day just a little better. She will live on through the stories we all have, if we dare share.
