Shirley Ann Record, 80, of Winnsboro, Texas, joined the Lord and faithful in Heaven on November 21, 2021. Mrs. Record who had been suffering from Alzheimer's disease for a number of years now enjoys a new body with no more pain and no more sorrow. Shirley was born on March 31, 1941 in Franklin County, Texas, to the late Richard and Helois (Kennedy) West. She worked as a nurse for 30 plus years. Shirley was much loved by the patients and co-workers. She married Buddy Record in 1964 and they enjoyed 47 years as husband and wife before his death in 2012. Mrs. Record was a member of Hepsibah Baptist Church in Winnsboro. She is survived by son Timmy Pelton; daughter Patti Lindley and husband Mickey; daughter Tami Crow, step-daughter Donna Record; grandchildren Erin Pelton, Mia Pelton, Corey Lindley, Jason Lindley, Josh Turner, Haley Morgan, Paula Castleberry, David Maynard, and Corey Maynard; great grandchildren Cory Pelton, Reese Lindley, Kamree Lindley, Deuce Lindley, Ryker Lindley, and Logan Orvis; brothers James West and wife Betty, Jerry West, Robert West and wife Joyce; sister Norma Clements.
