Mrs. Sherry Lee Guy, age 61 of Winnboro, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on May 28, 1960 in Winnsboro to James Lynn Jackson and Patricia Corley Jackson.
Sherry was a housewife and member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Jackson in 1999.
She is survived by her father, James Lynn Jackson of Winnsboro; loving husband, Billy Guy of Winnsboro; son, Heath Guy and wife Ashley of Winnsboro; sisters, Lynn Bell and husband, Terry of Sulphur Springs, Rita Evans and husband, Larry of Winnsboro, and Corley Smith and husband Tom of Winnsboro; three grandchildren, Austin, Ryder and Lynden.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Beaty Funeral Home with Rev. David Hendricks conducting. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Billy Guy, Heath Guy, Tom Smith, Larry Evans, Terry Bell, Blake Chester, Chris Madsen, and Robbie Nix serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Rodeo Moms, Jane Ann Newton, Dianna Fry, Georgia Goggins Smith, Cindy Cole, Linda Stout, and her friend in Heaven, Vickey Friday.
