Obituary for Sara Ann Surratt (Romine)
Mrs. Sara Ann Romine Surratt, age 82 of Winnsboro, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in Winnsboro. She was born on October 28, 1939 in Winnsboro to the late Howard Romine and Mattie Waldrop Romine.
She was retired from the Ark-la-Tex Council of Government, and a longtime member of Coldwater Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bob Surratt; brothers, Gene Romine, Richard "Red" Romine, and Jerry Romine; sister, Glynda O'Briant.
She is survived by her son, Robert Surratt of Clute, Texas; daughter, Karma Surratt Kelly of Mt. Vernon; sister, Mary York of Bullard; granddaughter, Kourtney Applewhite and great grandson, Tucker Applewhite.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Beaty Funeral HomeWinnsboro at 10:00 am, Bro. Donny Chamberlain conducting. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Winnsboro.
