Mr. Robert Charles Brewer, age 80 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in Winnsboro. He was born on November 24, 1940 in Winnsboro to the late Robert A. Brewer and Bertha Elizabeth Lindsey Brewer. Charles was a retired Land Surveyor and member of Tinney Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a fifty year member of the Dallas Model A Ford Club ,charter member of the Autumn Trails Model A Ford Club, the Lazy 8 V8 Ford Club and the Dallas V8 Ford Club. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Nicholas Morris. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherri Brewer of Winnsboro; daughters, Shareece Brewer of Howe, Texas, Laurie Burgess and husband Jon of Oak Point, Texas; son, Shannon Brewer of Howe, Texas; step daughters, Dawn Green of Nacogdoches, Mindy Robinson and Hollie Parker of Winnsboro; sister, Sara Pollard of Winnsboro; 8 grandchildren, Gavin Burgess, Shiane Brewer, Nikki Brewer, Kathleen Baker, Ashlee Neighbors, Alyssa Harris, Ryan Parker, and Reese Parker and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Nub Brown conducting. Interment will be at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Rusty Brewer, Ben Newcombe, Curtis Hatherly, Martin Parker, Marc Green, Matt Green serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Morris, Tim Pollard, Nick Pollard, and David Brewer. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tinney Chapel United Methodist Church.
