Obituary for Reba Ann Wetzel (Anders)

Surrounded by her loving family, Reba Ann (Anders) Wetzel received her heavenly reward on July 31, 2020. Reba was born to the late Orval and Lillie (Lindley) Anders in Winnsboro on November 5, 1938. She was proud to be from Winnsboro. Mrs. Wetzel, self taught, worked as a florist for almost 50 years. Reba was a charter member of the First Assembly of God in Winnsboro and enjoyed her time teaching children's Sunday School. Reba was very proud of the fact she helped chip away and clean bricks at North Ward School to build the First Assembly of God Church. She belonged to the Topps Club and currently attended Walnut Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Wetzel was preceded in death by her parents; brothers William Glenn Anders, Albert Earl Anders, and J.C. Anders; sister Alice Mae McLean. Reba is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years Roy Kennith Wetzel; daughter Vickey Wetzel Mitchell and husband Larry; daughter Sharon Wetzel Frazier. Proud Maw Maw to grandchildren Heith Mitchell and wife Christi, Lisa Mitchell Stringer and husband Derl, Cassey Mitchell Amerson and husband Chuck, Kody Keith and wife Jessika and Jacob Frazier; 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; brothers C.L. Anders, Percy Anders, Marion Wayne Anders and Orval Ray Anders; sister Faye Russom. Reba was a daughter-in-law and sister-in-law to an incredible family who she loved very much. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2nd at Beaty Funeral Home. The funeral to celebrate her life will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 3rd in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery.
