Obituary for Rachel Marie Harman

Rachel Marie Harman is now at peace from this earthly life on May 19, 2023. She was born on June 17, 1982, in Houston, Texas, to Michael Harman and Shelly Swann. A 2000 graduate of Mesquite High School, Rachel lived life to the fullest. She was a fifteen plus year member of Black Oak Baptist Church and currently employed by Denali as a truck driver. Before being a truck driver, Rachel cut hair for several years. She was the first female to work at Briley's Barber Shop. Rachel was a lover of animals and many a stray dog and cat found their way living in the yard of her home. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Lee Harman; maternal grandmother MaryJane Swann; paternal grandfather Howard Harman; "Pop" David Johnston; and brother-in-law Nolan Blair. Rachel is survived by her father Michael Harman and step-mother Jean; mother Shelly Shoemaker and step-father Clay; the love of her life, Christopher Duane Ragsdill; sister Laela Blair; sons Jacob Michael Guerrero and Colton Chase Hill; daughter Cesalee Marie Hill; son Colby Guerrero; daughter Kendall Ragsdill; son Kaiden Ragsdill; grandfather Robert Swann; grandmother Marie Bonnette and husband Lawson. She is also loved and survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the church Rachel loved so much.
