Obituary for Penny Lynn Shelton (Strickland)
Mrs. Penny Lynn Shelton, age 72 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home. She was born on September 13, 1949 in Cumby, Texas to the late Claudie Luke Strickland and Flora Bowen Strickland.
Penny was a longtime beautician in the Winnsboro area and was a member of the Classic Lanes Bowling League.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lynn Shelton of Winnsboro; daughter, Tonya Shelton and husband, Bobby Moody of Scroggins; sister, Wynona Lewis of Council Bluff, Iowa; granddaughters, Lacie Rainey and husband, Randy of Pickton, Ashley Hanna and husband, Heath of Sulphur Springs and Crystal Wilson and husband, Jeff Cook of Dike; nine grandchildren, Lexie, Randy Lee, KyLee, Brently, Hurley, Konner, Colby, Brooklynn and William.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro . Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Bro. Rhory Wilson conducting. Interment will be at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Randy Rainey, Heath Hanna, Jeff Cook, Colby Wilson, Don Wayne Spaugh, Chris Clements serving as pallbearers.
