Obituary for Pauline Lynch "Sadie" Moon (Cofer)
Mrs. Pauline Lynch Moon, age 89 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Winnsboro. She was born on October 20, 1931 in Winnsboro to the late Andy Cofer and Emma Murphy Cofer.
Pauline was a homemaker and retired cashier with Earl Brown's Grocery. She loved sewing, gardening, fishing, cooking and birds and flowers and was a longtime member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Edwin Roy Lynch and Herbert Moon and son, Roy Joe Lynch.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Mabry of Winnsboro; step daughter, Kathy Moore; step son, Russell Graves; brother, Junior Cofer of Winnsboro; four grandchildren, Lauren Lynch, Paula McQueen and husband, Shanandoah, Christie Maley and husband, Tom, Caleb Mabry and wife, Crystallynn; nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 at Walnut Street Baptist Church 919 N. Walnut St. Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 11:00 am, Rev. David Taylor conducting, interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Winnsboro.
