Obituary for Nell Dona Browning (Harris)
Mrs. Nell Dona Browning, age 96 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 in Winnsboro. She was born on December 29, 1925 in Winnsboro to the late Roy J. Harris and Clemma Lou Corbitt Harris.
Mrs. Browning was retired from the Band Box Fashion Shop in Winnsboro, a longtime member and nursery worker at First Baptist Church in Winnsboro, a 65 year member of the Eastern Star and a longtime member of the Standard Club in Winnsboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, I.M. "Sy" Browning in January of 2000; brother, L.C. Harris and sister, Bobbie Jean Harris Smith.
She is survived by her daughters, Jane Browning of Tyler, Mary Ann Allen and husband, Robbie of Yantis, Dona Jordan and husband, Henry of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Ike McCullars and wife, Jamie of West Monroe, LA, Ira McCullars and wife, Jaime of Tyler, Robbin Poston and husband, Garrett of Winnsboro, Evan Ellis of Gilmer, Ruth Clark of Longview; nephew, Richard Smith and wife Leila of Winnsboro; nieces, Pam Smith and Paula Ingram both of Tyler; great grandchildren, Waylon McCullars, Everett McCullars, Eli McCullars, Anniston McCullars, Hazen Poston, Sophie Ellis, Laken Ellis, Hudson Clark and Oliver Clark; best friends, Bobby Folmar and Mary Steele.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Sharon Cemetery Hwy 37 S. Winnsboro, Texas at 2:00 pm, David Allen conducting.
