Obituary for Lillian Hallman-McCollum

Mrs. Lillian Hallman-McCollum, age 92 of Winnsboro, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 in Quitman. She was born on March 24, 1930 in Winnsboro, Texas to the late Charley Havens and Nancy McLeroy Havens.
Lillian was a retired secretary, homemaker and a 1947 Winnsboro High School Graduate. She enjoyed many passions in life. She had a thirst for life and was always involved in something. Some of those included: working in her flowerbeds, vegetable gardening, riding motorcycles, painting, drawing, floral arranging, played the piano and organ, working cows, playing cards and dominoes, and traveled the United States camping. She loved and served the Lord and was a member at Cookville Baptist Church. She loved her family and was known by many as MaMaw. She was full of spunk and lived life large!
She was preceded in death by husbands, Joe Hallman and John McCollum; daughter, Sherry McAlexander and brother, Wayne Havens.
Survivors include her sons, Bubba Hallman and Randy Hallman both of Winnsboro; daughter, Kathy Hallman of Winnsboro; brother, Charles Havens of Panama; sisters, Ruth Wallis and Mary Cofer both of Winnsboro; eleven grandchildren, Christy Carden, Regena King, Ryan Lane, Garrett Bass, Jeremy Hallman, Kristii Burch, David Hallman, Christy Hallman, Nikki Hallman, Wesley McCollum, and Jenifer McCollum; fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Funeral Services will follow at 2:30 at Smyrna Cemetery CR 4450 Winnsboro, TX with Bro. Ronny Spence conducting, Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Hallman, Ryan Lane, Garrett Bass, Josh Hooks, John Wesley McCollum, and Jarrett McCollum.
