Obituary for Milton Roy Stevens

Mr. Milton Roy Stevens, age 80, of Mineola, Texas, died Saturday, September 15, 2007, at a Tyler Hospital. He was born August 17, 1927 in Waco to the late, Charles Scott Stevens and the late Gladys Langston Prices Stevens. Mr. Stevens served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received a combat Infantry Bage, a Korean Service Medal, and a Purple Heart. He was a 50 plus years endowed member of the Scottish Rite Freemasons, a former Lodge Master of the Lovefiels Chapter and a 32nd degree Mason. He also served in the Dallas Army Reserve and was a member of the First Christian Church in Mineola. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ada Jane Stevens in 1988.
He is survived by his wife of four years, Vera (Morgan) Stevens of Mineola; one niece, Elaine Murry and her husband, Harry and by one nephew, Glen Ford.
