Obituary for Michael Reagan Wilson

Beloved man of God, Michael Reagan Wilson, of Winnsboro, TX, joined his heavenly Father on Saturday, November 16, 2020, after a very brief illness. Preceding him in death are his parents, Reagan “Red” and Katherine Wilson of Yantis, TX. Mike had been a resident of Winnsboro, TX, since 1995. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte and daughter, Traci Wilson of Winnsboro, TX; son, Todd Wilson of Cozumel, Mexico and 4 cousins, Shirley Wilson, Jim Wilson and Mary Kay Parrish of Rockwall, and Elaine Cowan of Royce City, TX. At 77, he had enjoyed many careers. In 1993, he retired as a Captain from the Dallas Fire Department, was the owner of iTec Manufacturing from 1995-2011, and co-founded Mt. High in 1994, a camp for adults with brain injury which is now in its 27th year. He was an active member of the Living Waters Fellowship Church in Quitman and a regular volunteer at the Gideon’s Restorative Camp in Winnsboro. He gave his time and abilities to numerous ministries. He touched many lives with his quiet wisdom about God, country and life in general. Charitable contributions may be made to the following: Mt. The Celebration of Life will be held at a later time when it’s easier to have larger gatherings.
