Obituary

Keith Stone of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on September 24, 2020. Keith was born on February 7, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Maxie Duane Stone and Martha Hoff Stone. He was a Harley motorcycle riding man who loved the outdoors, being out on the water at sunset and having a large heart and love for his family. Keith is survived by his mother Martha Hoff Stone-Dickens of Cumby; fiancé Meridith Yoder of Winnsboro; son Keifer Stone and wife Cassie of Thornton, Colorado; brother Max Stone of New York City, NY; sisters Stacy Riley and husband Tommy of College Station, Texas, Laurie Caldwell and husband Russell of Cumby, Texas and sister Patti Sells of Sulphur Springs, Texas; sister-in-law Jan Stone of Irving, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29th in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. The funeral for Keith will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30th at Beaty Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Branch officiating.

I can remember all the times you came to see Josh play with Patti and Denise. I always knew I had a dance partner. You gave the best hugs. Your whole family gives good hugs. The time in Austin after Ryan’s wedding you and Patti were ready to head out at midnight. We did lol! Remember you ran to get my flip flop that was lost on the road. It was the quiet times I remember the most. The pick me up texts and the big brother/friendship. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that you are gone. I’m thankful the last time I saw you was good. Love you. Save a dance for me when I see you again.
