Obituary for Marlin Bernice Rayborn

Mrs. Marlin Bernice Rayborn passed away on Friday, August 24, 2007 at the age of 87. She was born on July 18, 1920 to the late Daniel Webster Acker and Neaomia Fuller Acker. Mrs. Rayborn was a seamstress, volunteered at the Whispering Pines Nursing Home for many years, and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Odis Harold Rayborn; daughter, Charlotte Sue Cain; brother, Willie B. Acker and by a sister, Johnnie Rhoades. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene "PeeWee" and Gail Rayborn of Diboll, J.C. Rayborn of Mt. Pleasant, Mackie and Betty Rayborn of Grand Prairie and John Rayborn of Winnsboro; daughter and son-in-law, Doris and J.C. Johns of Gladewater; brother, Travis Acker of Winnsboro; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
