Mark Randall Gilliam, 59, of Winnsboro, Texas, began his life in Heaven on April 13, 2021. Mr. Gilliam was born to the late Jack Gilliam and Selina (Jackson) Gilliam on July 12, 1961 in Winnsboro. He lived most of his life in Winnsboro and treasured the area he called home. Mark LOVED to fish and enjoyed country rides down the back roads of east Texas. He was also known to enjoy a Pittsburg Hot Link or two or three. Mark began work in the oilfield industry until an accident injured his back. This set back caused him many sleeplessness nights, however, he never let it crush his spirit. He and the love of his life Ruth Henderson were members of Hope Fellowship Church in Winnsboro. Mark was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carolyn Ann Gilliam. Mr. Gilliam is survived by devoted spouse, Ruth Henderson; sons, Mark Gilliam, Jr., Rodney Henderson and Roger Peckham; daughters, Jennifer Gilliam, Selina Gilliam, Sandy Gilliam and Ellen Henderson; brothers, Marshall Gilliam and Jerry Glenn Gilliam; sister, Rhonda Kay Gilliam; numerous grandchildren and other family. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, April 15th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Cypress Cemetery with Bro. Nub Brown officiating.
