Obituary for Lizzie Nell Morris

Lizzie Nell Hazlewood Morris, age 87, of Winnsboro passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007. She was born on October 4, 1919 in Sulphur Springs to the late W.A. and Tula Koontz Hazlewood. She worked for the Wilson Manufacturing Company as a seamstress, was a member of First United Methodist of Winnsboro for over 50 years, United Methodist Women. She married the late William "Mutt" Morris on January 25, 1942, he preceded her on September 10, 1992. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, R.D., William, Lewis, Gerald, and Royal Hazlewood; two sisters, Mary Kate Phillips, and Blanch Prim; one grandchild, Holley Chandler; one daughter-in-law, Bendette Morris. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, William Tom and Joan Morris of Winnsboro, Michael Earl and Zanna Morris of Winnsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Lou Beth and Joe Chandler of Winnsboro; two brothers, Bob Hazlewood of Dallas, and Herm Hazlewood of the Lake Fork area; six grandchildren, Tommy Morris, Pam Wallis, Julie Conner, Joe Chandler, Tamara Langley, Tiffany Morris; four great-grandchildren, Wesley Morris, Chandler Conner, Emily Conner and Logan Langley.
