Our beloved Great Grandmother, Grandmother, Mother, Sister, Aunt and daughter of Christ sadly passed away at the age of 82, on December 21, 2022, at 9:57 p.m. She was born August 31, 1940, in Bakersfield California. She was the daughter of a farming family and learned the value of hard work and family early in her life. She did not come from money and had to work most of her adult life to support her two sons. She was a loving mother and would always put her sons' wants and needs in front of her own. Her life was not filled with wealth in a monetary perspective, but she was a wealthy woman in life through her eyes because of the love of family. She often described herself as the "luckiest person on earth." She was one of five children and cherished the relationships she had with her siblings Mitchell, Deanna, Michael, and Kenneth. Her relationship with her mother was second to none and she cared for both her mother Lora and brother Michael in the last days of their lives. She was an endorser of positive outlooks and always fought to see the good in people. She valued and cherished every day on this earth and as a daughter of Christ, she knew that her everlasting love of the Gospel would result in her joining her family in Heaven. She leaves behind the legacy of two sons, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Letha Faye Durbin was a blessing in so many lives, but now the blessing has been bestowed to her by joining our Heavenly Father in His Kingdom.Rest well mom and know you will forever be loved here on earth.
