Dr. Larry Richard Landers D.C., 80, passed away on February 18, 2021. He was born in Brinker, Texas on May 15, 1940 to Walter Richard Landers and Thelma Irene (Claunch) Landers.
He is preceded in death by James Landers-brother, Wayne Landers-brother, Betty Holt-sister, and Lesa Monday-daughter.
He is survived by Glena Noles-sister, Angie Hollingsworth-daughter, and Rand Landers-son. There are four grandchildren: Matthew Monday, Michael Monday, Kanen Smith, and Victoria Henderson. He is blessed with six great grandchildren as well.
Dr. Landers was an extremely frugal and hardworking man going back to his childhood days when he picked cotton for pennies a sack. He was an excellent provider and concerned father to his family.
His ability to reach out and care for his extended family and friends was obvious. When it came to the practice of his Chiropractic profession Dr. Landers was second to none.
Larry Richard Landers goes sorely missed in the various arenas of his life whether it is with family, friends, professional and business associates, or acquaintances.
The world is a lesser place when men like him make their exit.
The family will receive friends for a time to gather and visit on Saturday, March 6th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Beaty Funeral Home.
