Mrs. Katherine Marine Shaw, age 94 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Winnsboro. She was born on September 18, 1927 in Winnsboro to the late Orbie Allen and Lena Cone Allen.
Marine was a retired Law Librarian, a member of First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro and the Methodist Church Quilting Club. She was preceded in death by parents, brothers, Curtis Allen and R.D. Hornbuckle; sisters, Geneva Mertz, Bea Crow and Dorothy Green.
She is survived by her son, Richard A. Brewer and wife, Arline of Winnsboro; daughters, Linda C. Brewer and Paula K. Brewer both of Winnsboro; seven grandchildren, Carla, Jennifer, Danny, Randall, Brian, Michael and Jason; eight great grandchildren, Spencer, Trey, Alison, Meredith, Jaden, Taylor, Colbie and Dylan; three great great grandchildren, Justin, Clementine and Leah.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway. Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park at 3:00 pm, Rev. Debbie Lyons conducting. Danny Lee, Randall Jensen, Brian Brewer, Michael Brewer, Jason Huneycutt, Spencer Cook serving as pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearer, Trey Borden.
