Obituary for Joe Thomas Hart

Mr. Joe Thomas Hart, age 70 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Tyler, Tx. He was born on June 1, 1951 in Sulphur Springs to Thurman Thomas Hart and Annie Belle Miller Hart.
Joe was a retired truck driver, a member of Pine Hill Church, and enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman Hart and Annie Hart; son, Joey Hart and other family; Dana Michelle Marshall, Jillian Peoples, and Penelope Amerson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dana Hart of Winnsboro; daughter, Stacey (Hart) White of Winnsboro; son Eric Hart and his wife Susan of Mt. Pleasant; daughters: Holly Kersten and her husband Lance of New Summerfield; Jill Bernard and her husband, Jim of Longview; sister, Karen Sims and her husband, Mark of Winnsboro; nieces: Latasha and Trista Taylor of Winnsboro; grandchildren: Dakota and Julie Rushing, ShyAnne White, Sierra White, Jessicia (Smith) Ayers, Dillon Smith, Kainer Hart, Kascedy Emmel, Kaitlyn and Hunter Carder, Jett Jenkins, Shane and Cristal Kersten, Holly and Matt Blanchard, Taylor and Wade Peoples, Greyson Amerson, Gunner and Hope Amerson, Gavin Amerson, and Peyton Fergason.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Winterfield Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Rushing, Dillon Smith, Kainer Hart, Gunner Amerson, Greyson Amerson, Jett Jenkins, Gavin Amerson, and Peyton Fergason. Honorary pallbearers Danny Culp, David Kester, Lance Kersten, Jim Bernard, Brad Onley, Wade Peoples, Dean Ward, and Cawyer Currey.
