Obituary for J.G. Turner

Mr. J.G. Turner, age 86 , of Winnsboro, passed away, Monday, September 24, 2007 in Winnsboro. He was born in the Smyrna Community on March 21, 1921 to the late Jefferson Gordon and Eula Bass Turner. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, owned and operated Turner's Radio and T.V. repair, and drove a school bus for WISD. He was married on June 22, 1940 in the Smyrna Community to Ms. Jeffie Lee Rogers by Rev. Jake Norris. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Terry G. Turner in 1969. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jeffie L. Turner of Winnsboro; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Nancy Turner of Longview; two nieces and two nephews.
