James W. Weston, Jr., 55, of Winnsboro, passed away after a brief illness on August 26, 2020, in his Winnsboro home. Mr. Weston was born on September 9, 1964 in San Diego, California to James W. Weston, Sr. and Christine Mae (Brandstatt) Weston. James was a 1983 graduate of Fouke High School in Fouke Arkansas. He loved fishing, hunting or just about anything having to do with the outdoors. James had previously worked for Tri-State Delivery. Mr. Weston was a correctional officer for the past 13 years. He had spent the first 10 years at the Telford Unit in New Boston and the last 3 years at the Johnston Unit in Winnsboro. Mr. Weston is survived by his sons James "Jimmy" W. Weston III and Jacob Weston; brother Billy Hicks; sisters Linda Clark and Debra Howard; grandchildren Hudson Weston and Faith Weston. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home Winnsboro, Texas. Interment of the cremains will occur Saturday, September 5th at 10:00 a.m., in Fouke Cemetery-Fouke, Arkansas.
