Obituary for Imogene "Nanny" Woodfin
Mrs. Imogene "Nanny" Woodfin, age 94 of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Winnsboro. She was born on April 23, 1928 in Franklin County, Texas to the late Stirl Lawrence and Mable Reynolds Lawrence.
Nanny was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Winnsboro and longtime nursery worker at Grace Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eugene Woodfin in 1991, son, James Paul Woodfin, and a grandson, Bryan Harper.
She is survived by son, Mark Woodfin and wife, Carol of Lindale; daughter, Marcie Henley and husband, Stephen of Scroggins; brother, Nicky Lawrence; grandchildren, Samantha Harper, Kelvin Woodfin and Alicia Woodfin; great-grandchildren, Mekenzie, Kaden, Jonah, and Krew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Dr. David Rose conducting. Interment will be at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Stephen Henley, Arthur Harper, Garrett Treadway, Kelvin Woodfin, Kaden Woodfin, Mark Woodfin serving as pallbearers.
