Hannah Lea Pegues left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior on April 6, 2022. She was born on October 3, 2005 to Ben and Jessica Pegues of Como. She is survived by brothers Blayke Pegues and wife Angela, Matthew Pegues and wife Esmeralda, best friend Evan Pegues, Houston Pegues, and little sister Adalyn Pegues all of Como. She is also survived by nephews Samuel Kinsler and Thomas Bryant Pegues. Grandparents are Mark Matthews of Como, the late Mary Lea Matthews, and Bruce and Lynn Hale of Sulphur Springs. Great Grandparents are Bettye and the late Durward Harris of Mt. Pleasant, Leonard and Mary Hale of Houston, the late Sam and Pauline Matthews of Como, the late Jim and Annete Toland of Mineola, and the late Ben and Audrey Pegues of Mineola. She is also survived by the blessing of a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins, including her cousin/sister, Anna Kate Richardson of Como.
Boo, as she was typically called at home, was a fiesty, tell it like it is, be who you are, honest and beautiful young woman. She loved her family and friends more than words, and would have done anything for them. She loved softball and cheer, and her home at Como Pickton ISD. She gave teachers and coaches a run for their money, but they had really begun to shape her into an incredibly strong, respective young woman. She was beautiful, funny, loved to play, dance and joke around. She loved her Church family and was a firm believer of Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro from 5-7 p.m. on April 13, 2022. Funeral services will also be at Beaty on April 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
