Obituary for Glen "Pete" Phillips

Mr. Glen "Pete" Phillips, age 78 of Lake Cypress Springs, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007 in Winnsboro. He was born on July 17, 1928 in De Queen, Arkansas, to the late David and Ruby Little Phillips. He married Imogene Orr on June 8, 1946 in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a retired gas plant superintendent for the Moncrief Oil Co., in Fort Worth. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Imogene Phillips of Lake Cypress Springs; three sons, Charlie Phillips of Dallas, Ronnie Phillips and wife Kathy of Denton, Mike Phillips of Lake Cypress Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Scotty Conley of Commerce; one brother, J.B. Phillips of Texarkana; two sisters, Louise Clemens of Nashville, Ar., Helen McRae and husband Coleman of De Queen, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
