Obituary for Fred Ely Howard

Mr. Fred Ely Howard passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the age of 81. He was born on June 27, 1926 to the late Charles Rutledge Howard and Cornelia Samantha Kelley Howard. Mr. Howard served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was a member of the V.F.W. and worked as a mechanic in the oil field industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Larry Howard and Rodney Winkle; daughter, Gale Brown; sister, Nell Scarborough; brothers, John Howard, Ned Howard, Wright Patman Howard, Richard Howard, and C.S. Howard. Survivors inlcude his wife, Mrs. Dale Howard of Winnsboro, sons, Roger Howard of Quitman, Freddie Howard of Howe, Stacy Howard of Connecticut, Tracey Howard of New Mexico and Stanley Howard of Fairfield; daughters, Carol Woodfin, Judy Martin and Donna Taylor all of Winnsboro; brother, Charles Howard of Tennesse; sister, Minnie Dunn of Mt. Pleasant and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
