Franklin O. Trent, Jr., 62, of Mineola, Texas, opened his eyes in Heaven on August 21, 2022. Mr. Trent's devoted family was there by his side in his last hours. He was born in Fort Ord, California on March 6, 1960, to Franklin Oriss Trent and Barbara Rochele (Wamsley) Trent. His interests included collecting guns, knives, hunting, and fishing. Frank loved shopping for antiques and looking for a good deal. Most importantly he enjoyed spending his free time with his family he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Bodiford Trent of Mineola; parents, Franklin and Barbara Trent of Mineola; son, Chris Feil and his wife Cristina of Mineola; daughters, Brandie Feil of Tyler and Andrea McClain of Mineola; brother, Franklin Wayne Trent and his wife Susan of Missouri; sisters, Sharon Sherman of Vacaviile, CA. and Monica McDonald and her husband David of Grand Saline, TX; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; niece, Ryanne Kindle and her husband Chase of Mineola, Kathleen Trent, Deborah Sherman and husband Matt, nephew; Frank Trent and wife Cynthia, Rick Trent and wife Crystal, Greg Sherman ; great niece, Sawyer Kindle, Anna and Emile and great nephew, Thatcher Kindle both of Mineola, TX.
The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola. The funeral will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Mike Fletcher officiating and speaker, Lonnie Locklear. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Chase Kindle, Thatcher Kindle, David McDonald, Scott McDonald, Sam Davis, and Brett Davis. Interment will take place at New Hope Cemetery in Mineola, TX.
