Obituary for Denise Goff
C. Denise Goff, 66, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 3, 2023 at her home in Quitman, TX.
She was born on July 3, 1956 in Fort Worth, TX to Joe W. Abbott Jr. and Clematene “Tootsie” Abbott.
Denise graduated from Mansfield High School. She worked several years at the Burleson Post Office and then retired from GM Financial in Arlington, TX.
After she retired, she moved to East Texas to be with her pride and joys, DD and Emily.
Denise loved the wildlife, gardening and watching her birds.
She was preceded in death by her Daddy, Joe Abbott and her Prince, Donnie Goff.
Survivors include mother, Tootsie Abbott; Best Friend and Daughter, Darla DD Kemp; Granddaughter, Emily Reed; Sister, Merlynn (Bobby) Stewart; Brother, Bart (Diane) Abbott; along with her cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friend, Doc Kemp. And not to forget her beloved dog, Tip.
