Obituary for Charles Decker

Mr. Charles R. Decker, age 66 of Winnsboro, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, June 2, 2007. He was born in Winnsboro to the late Carl and Byrtle Jordan Decker on December 6, 1940. He was a graduate of WHS Class of '59, a metal building contractor, and a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. He married Helen Hurtado in Ft. Worth in 1966. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Helen Decker of Winnsboro; one son, Shane Decker of Winnsboro; two daughters, Victoria Johnson of Ruidoso, Tonya McClellan and husband Michael of Watauga; two brothers, Alton Lee Decker of Whitesboro, James Decker of Winnsboro; one sister, Jean Brayton of Anna; and three grandchildren.
