Longtime resident of Winnsboro, Texas, Carol Sue Messimer passed away peacefully on March 14, 2020. Carol was born on July 13, 1942 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Pete and Modelle Frangenberg. She would tell anyone her occupation would be that of a Nana to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol loved antiquing, putting a couple dollars worth of pennies in the slot machine, trips back to Arkansas to see her family and spoiling her grand-kids. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph Messimer, Sr.; grandchildren Ryan Messimer and Kimberly Messimer; sisters Mary Ellen Gustin, Patricia Ann Nelson, Frances Melton; brothers Michael Anthony Frangenberg and Edward Joseph Frangenberg. Mrs. Messimer is survived by her sons Joseph Messimer, Jr. and Keith Messimer and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren Heather Barnhill, Summer Tate, Treas Schell and Lakken Messimer; great-grandchildren Halle, Wylder, Nayvie, Decklyn, Oakleey and Hudson; brothers Peter Richard Frangenberg and wife Adele, Samuel Kent Frangenberg and wife Glenda, Mark C. Frangenberg, Frank T. Frangenberg and wife Donna; sisters Sandra Rose Young and husband DD, Bernadette Mathis and husband Pat and Margaret Connelly and husband Max.
