Obituary for Carmen Sanchez
Carmen H Sanchez, age 100, of Hawkins, Texas, died Friday, September 28, 2007, in Big Sandy, Texas. Mrs. Sanchez was a retired cashier for Sears and moved to Hawkins from California in September of 2002. She was born September 9, 1907 in Del Rio, Texas to the late Felix Hernandez and the late Apolonia Andrade Hernandez.
She is survived by her one son, Melchor Sanchez, III of Arcadia, Calif. and his wife Lorraine; two sisters, Yolanda Elkins of Hawkins, Texas and Victoria Acosta of Fresno, Calif.; grandson, Melchor Sanchez, IV; granddaughter, Trisha Stacy VAn Horsen and her husband Garrit; Stepgrandson, Rene Sanz and his wife Tove; great grandsons, Melchor Sanchez, V and Jacob Wayne Van Horsen; great granddaughters, Alexandra Melody Van Horsen, Emily Reese Van Horsen, Isabella Sanz and Abigail Sanz and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
