Obituary for Bill Wayne Wartes
Bill Wartes of Holly Lake Ranch passed away, November 7, 2007 at the age of 77. He was born October 24, 1930 in Wellman, Texas to the late T. A. and Merle (Singleton) Wartes. He was a Band Director in the Dallas and surrounding area for 37 years and was a avid golfer. He is preceded in death by one brother, T. A. Wartes, Jr. He is survived by two sons, John Wartes of Chicago, IL and Shannon Rutherford of Philadelphia, PA; daughter, Holly O'Brien of Highland Park, TX; best friend and companion, Leta Jo Senn of Holly Lake Ranch, TX; two sisters, Bennie Bullock of McKinney, TX and Beverly Gibson of Austin, TX; five grandchildren, Christopher Doubet, Alexander Doubet, India Wartes, Jack Wartes, Tate Wartes; and numerous nephews and nieces.
