Obituary for Bella Anouchy Carlock (Anouchy)

Our beautiful and much loved mother Bella Anouchy Carlock and grandmother Mimi of Winnsboro, Texas, closed her eyes in this life on March 24, 2023. Bella was born on June 26, 1945, to Mordehai Max Anouchy and Pauline Rochverger Anouchy in Alexandria, Egypt. An interesting life indeed, Mrs. Carlock served in the Israeli army during the Six-Day War in 1967 and the Yom Kippur war in 1973. Following her service in the army of Israel she worked as a secretary for the Israeli Prime Minister of Defense. She wed Marcus Dewitt Carlock III on December 6, 1978. Bella retired as a home health care provider after many years. Mrs. Carlock was a Mimi to all and was a top rated Ramen Noodle Chef (Chicken Flavor). Bella was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband Marcus in 2000. She is survived by her son Marcus Dewitt IV; daughter Ann Underwood and husband Randy; stepson Darryl Jones; step-daughters Donna Jones and Rhea Carlock Merkl; grandchildren Jacob Underwood, Marcus Dewitt Carlock V, Nathan Underwood, Sarah Underwood, Keaton Carlock, Kaitlyn Blake, Lakyn Carlock, Elah Carlock; and one great-grandbaby on the way. A graveside service will be held at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro on Tuesday, March 28th at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Nub Brown officiating.
