Mr. Arbuary Lee Hicks, age 85 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Winnsboro. He was born on August 15, 1936 in Wolfe City, Texas.
Arbuary was a retired auto mechanic and worked for Tom Scott Lumberyard in Mt. Vernon for many years and was an active member of Clearwater Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, working on all his outdoor toys and reading his westerns and the Bible.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Stevens Hicks of Winnsboro; sons, Pete Hicks of Ft. Worth, Lynn Hicks of Greenville; step children, Stephen Stewart an his wife, Joy of Irving and Paula Hooks and her husband, Keith of Kilgore; five grandchildren and ten great greandchildren as well as several brothers and sisters in the Greenville area.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Clearwater Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 at the church with Dr. Bill Holmes conducting. Interment will be at Purley Cemetery with Keith Hooks, Brandon Hooks, Scottie Keck, John Bordas, Stephen Stewart, Dillon Romanelli serving as pallbearers.
