Obituary for Annie Lou Dunn (Knight)

Annie Lou Knight Dunn, joined the faithful in Heaven on January 16, 2023 after a long and well lived life. Mrs. Dunn was born on March 15, 1930, in Grapevine, Texas, to the late Monroe and Eliza Emery Knight. She was a 1947 graduate of Winnsboro High School and then attended Draughn Business School in Dallas. Annie was and executive secretary for most of her adult life working for W.R. Grace in Dallas and Santa Fe Drilling in Odessa. Mrs. Dunn served for 3 years in the mission field in Nepal with the Lutheran Church. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Winnsboro. Annie was a voracious reader and loved dogs. She was always asking about her families dogs and loved to give them them a scratch on the ears. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ray Dunn; siblings A.J. Baker, Ruth Knight Carpenter, M.R. Knight, Jr., Clyde Knight, Imogene Knight McCord, and Dorothy Knight Craddock. She is survived by daughter Ronda Pressly Wallis and husband Jim, daughter Tricia Pressly Clark and husband John; granddaughter Lauren Wallis, granddaughter Holly Clark-Porter and spouse K.C., granddaughter Hannah Clark Horstman and husband Jordan; grandson Nathan Clark and spouse Kristin; great-grandchildren Lily and Will Clark, Brooklyn Horstman; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family will hold a service of rememberance for Mrs. Dunn at a later date.
