Matthew Scott Mullins, age 50, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 6, 2021 at his home in Mineola, TX
Matthew was born May 1, 1971, in Dallas, TX to father Freddy Ray Mullins, and mother Gloria Priscilla Collander Mullins. He grew up in Quinlan, TX and graduated from Quinlan Ford Highschool. Matthew studied at Tyler Junior College, as well as East Texas State University.
Matthew met his wife Teresa Michelle Mullins in Austin, TX at a college prep program in 1990, and they were married August 7, 1996 in Dallas, TX.
Matthew was a devoted father to his two daughters Katherine Mullins, (18) and Molly Mullins, (15) He accepted Christ at Lake Country Bible Church, and later attended Harvest Acres Baptist Church. Matthew enjoyed playing blues guitar and working on projects in his wood-working shop.
Matthew is preceded in death by his father, Freddy Ray Mullins, (April 1, 1986) and mother Gloria Priscilla Collander Mullins, (September 1, 2016)
He is survived by wife Teresa Michelle Mullins of Mineola, TX, daughters Katherine and Molly Mullins of Mineola, TX, Brother Clarence Baker of Rockwall, TX Brother Marcus Baker of Fort Worth, TX, Brother Johnny Mullins of Ardmore, OK, Nephew Scott Mullins of Greenville, TX and nieces Jessica Mullins of Salem, Massachusetts, Jasmine Mullins of Purcell, OK, and Audrey Mullins of Ardmore, OK.
Memorial Service is Scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday 13, 2021 at Harvest Acres Baptist Church, Mineola, TX with Rev. Craig Lacy and Rev. David Burcham officiating.
