Mr. Ulysses S. Grant Belcher, Jr. age 92 of Lindale, passed away on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 in Van. He was born on August 31st, 1926 in Wood County to the late Ulysses S. Grant Belcher, Sr. and Eve Bailey Belcher.
He was a retired Farmer and member of the Jehovah's Witness Church in Mineola.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Jerry and James Belcher and one granddaughter, Dixie Belcher.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Odessa Mae Belcher of Lindale; daughter, Neta Conaway and her husband David of Tyler; sister, Billie Elle of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Phillip Belcher, Jeremy Belcher and Brandi Conaway; two great grandchildren, Taylor and Conner Belcher..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 at Beaty Funeral Home Mineola at 10:00 am, James Nahaas conducting. Interment will follow at Sand Springs Cemetery in Mineola, with Scott Maddox, Lloyd Sullivan, Dale Willis, Robert Willis, Keith Attaway, Mike Laminack and Mike Attaway serving as pallbearers.
