Roy Jackson  Gunter
Mr. Roy Gunter, age 77 of Holly Lake Ranch, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 in Tyler. He was born on December 11, 1940 in Marshall Texas to the late William Lester Gunter and Nettie Lou Gunter. He was a retired engineer and member of Holly Brook Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ron, Darrell and Thomas and one sister, Lanelle Gunter.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Gunter of Holly Lake Ranch; daughters, Angie Surber and her husband Glenn of Garland and Marcie Sasina and her husband David of San Diego CA; sisters, Faye Russell of Marshall and Loretta Laywell of Hallsville, Texas; four grandchildren, Ashley Surber, Aaron Surber, Nicholas Sasina and Callie Sasina.. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will 2:00 pm Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at Beaty Funeral Home. Melody and Robert conducting, interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola.
