Obituary for Joseph George Dupont Jr.
Joseph George Dupont Jr, 74, left us on March 27, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born May 27, 1943, in Crystal City, Texas to Joseph and Minnie Lee Dupont.
Joseph retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1982 having served over 20 years.
He married his childhood sweetheart, Sandra Lea Gribben Dupont in 1970. Joseph and Sandra have had 62 years of love to one another and were on their 48th year of marriage. Between the two of them they had six children and 17 grandchildren.
Joseph was proceeded in death by parents Joseph George Dupont Sr., Minnie Lee Dupont and one brother Gary Wayne Dupont.
He is survived by wife, Sandra Dupont; brothers Albert (Louis) Dupont, David Lee Dupont and his children Amy Dupont Love, Tammy McKinney, Russell Dupont, Dale Dupont, Joseph Dupont and Deborah Shanks; grandchildren Josephine Ledezma, JB Scurlock, Katherine Ostrander, Brittany Gregory, Sarah Steitle, Courtney Dupont Garner, David Rohde, Jessica Dupont, Jacob Shanks, Lane Vickery, Dalton Dupont, Andrew McKinney, Laura Vickery, Linzey Wheat, Madison Dupont, Daymiana Rohde and Brayden Dupont. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Jerry Ostrander, Kylie Ostrander, Melania Gregory, Grayson Dupont, Moses Foster, Syvera Ledezma, Kayden Vickery-Burrell, Presleigh Dupont, Malakhi Dupont-Garner, Jeremiah Dupont-Garner, Aloni Vickery-Burrell and Ashton Vickery.
