Gay was a devoted, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a nurses-aid in a nursing home for several years until she married George and traveled the world with him during his 21-year military career. She served faithfully behind the scenes of her husband and her country. She enjoyed the outdoors, collecting feathers and flowers with her grand-kids and gardening her Rose of Sharons. Gay loved spending her time with her kids and grandchildren and watching them grow. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her and the lives she touched along the way. There will be a private family memorial service. In lieu of flowers please donate to Samaritan’s Purse in her honor.
