Obituary for Leslie "Sissy" Brumley

Leslie “Sissy” Brumley, age 52 of Pickton, passed away on Monday, February 5th, 2018 in Tyler. She was born December 14th, 1965 in Grand Saline, Texas to Robert and Polly Turner Schepp. She worked as the office manager and bookkeeper for Jona Contracting for 30 years and was currently employed as the bookkeeper for Brinker Water Department of Sulphur Springs.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Schepp and step father, Hollie Swatsell. Sissy is survived by the following: husband, Steve Brumley; sons, Marlin McPherson, Tanner Brumley and Chayton Brumley; daughters, Saxe Pierce and Skye Brumley all of Pickton. She is also survived by her mother, Polly Swatsell and brother, Kent Schepp and wife Jennifer. Sissy is survived by five grandchildren, Kage Pierce, Jaxee Pierce, Sarina Moore, Damean Moore and Blayton McPherson, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a nephew,and a host of friends.

A Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home of Winnsboro, Saturday, February 10th, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 pm followed by a 2:00pm Memorial Service. Beaty Funeral Home is located at 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro, TX 75494. Services officiated by Bro. Henry Suche and Jim Horton.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to charity of your choice.
