Elizabeth Diane Layman, age 66 of Mineola, passed away on Sunday, January 21st, 2018 in Quitman, TX. She was born on February 7th, 1951 to the late Charles Theodore Linton and Margaret Canty Linton . She was Catholic by faith and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Galveston, TX. Elizabeth worked 30 years for University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She was preceded in death by two brothers; C. T Linton and Dennis Linton; two sisters; Bertha Hall and Ann Edleman . She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of forty years Ronald L. Layman, Sr.; two brothers; Tommy Linton and Gene Linton; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, No services are planned at this time.
