Mrs. Lorene Weems, age 81 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 in McKinney. She was born on March 9th, 1936 in Quitman to the late Owen Roten and Lois Cain Roten. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, tending her plants, fishing and her family, especially her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David Weems; sisters, Juanita, June, Jeanette; brothers, Lester and George; great grandchild Savannah Hernandez and companion of many years, Harold Anderson. She is survived by her son, Walter Cooprider and his wife Kenya; daughter, Jeanine Smith and her husband Royce; grandchildren, Ryan Cooprider, Rachelle Hernandez and companion Tony Hawkins, Kimberly McGee and husband Curtis, Andrew and wife Krystal; great grandchildren, Tanner Hernandez, Payslee Mills, Ace Cooprider, Chloe McGee, Aiden Kettering, and Annysten Kettering.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at Lee Cemetery Highway 37 S. Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 2:00 pm, Bro. Ronny Spence conducting.
