Miss Daphne Smith, age 99 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at her home in Winnsboro. She was born on December 13th, 1917 in Camp County to the late Herbert Smith and Cora Smith.
She was a longtime Home Economics teacher at Winnsboro High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. She is survived by several cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 at Beaty Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, Dr. David Rose conducting, interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg, with Burke Bullock, Don Beaty, Charles Winkle, Lynn Swanner serving as pallbearers.
