Durlahbhai Thakorbhai Patel, age 66 of Quitman, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at ETMC Hospital in Tyler. Durlabhbhai was born in Gujarat, India on August 31, 1950 to Thakorbhai and Gangaben Patel. He was retired from the hotel industry and a member of the Hindu Faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Lilavatiben Patel of Quitman; three brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Beaty Funeral Home of Mineola, 5396 S. State HWY 37, Mineola. On Friday, April 14, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM the family will meet at the funeral home for a prayer service and brief visit before escorting Mr. Patel to the crematory in Winnsboro.
